Crafting Consumables
Legions can use Treasures to craft consumables. Consumables are a category of assets that use Treasures (e.g. beetle-wing, diamond, carriage) to create powerful assets in Bridgeworld. The 3 types of consumables that exist today are Prisms, Harvester Parts, and Extractors.
Note - Crafting Consumables costs 5 MAGIC
There are 3 types of Prisms (small, medium, large). When crafting Prisms, Legions have the chance to receive one of the following types of Prisms:
- Small: 90% drop chance
- Medium: 9 % drop chance
- Large: 1% drop chance
Players can use Essence of Starlight (EOS) and Prism Shards to upgrade the size of their prism(s) from small to medium or medium to large. The price of upgrading varies based on the level of corruption in the Forge (see below table). The price decreases as corruption increases to encourage players to upgrade prisms to remove more corruption when corruption is high.
Note - Upgrading Prisms requires 48 hours to complete.
Forge Corruption Level | Cost |
---|---|
0 - 100,000 | 700 EOS + 700 Prism Shards |
100,000 - 200,000 | 600 EOS + 600 Prism Shards |
200,000 - 300,000 | 500 EOS + 500 Prism Shards |
300,000 - 400,000 | 400 EOS + 400 Prism Shards |
400,000 - 500,000 | 300 EOS + 300 Prism Shards |
500,000 - 600,000 | 200 EOS + 200 Prism Shards |
600,000 - 1,000,000 (max) | 100 EOS + 100 Prism Shards |
Harvester Parts grant Legion’s access to Harvesters. Each staked Part increases how much MAGIC a wallet can deposit into the harvester. Legions must be crafting level 3 or greater in order to craft a Harvester Part.
There is a 100% chance of success when crafting your first harvester part and a 0.01% chance to craft 2 or more Harvester Parts with the same Auxiliary Legion. Genesis Legions have a 2% chance to craft 2 or more Harvester Parts.
Extractors give your harvester a temporary boost to the Harvester’s power. A maximum of 10 Extractors can be staked in a harvester at once. Legions must be crafting level 4 or greater in order to craft a Extractor.
There are 3 types of Extractors (small, medium, large). See below for the likelihood a legion crafts a certain size of Extractor and their associated boost they will have in Harvesters.
Extractor | Drop Chance | Mining Boost % |
---|---|---|
Small | 75% | 20% |
Medium | 15% | 25% |
Large | 10% | 30% |
Consumable | Crafting time (in hours) | Success Rate of Crafting |
---|---|---|
Prism | 23.5 hours | 100% |
Harvester Part | 35.5 hours | 100% for your first part and 0.01% chance to drop 2 or more Harvester Parts with the same Aux Legion. Genesis Legions have a 2% change to craft 2 or more Harvester Parts. |
Extractor | 47.5 hours | 100% |
In Season 1, Legions will have a maximum of 6 Crafting Levels. Increasing Legions’ Crafting Points (CP) enables them to craft more difficult recipes when crafting consumables. Crafting experience and, in turn, levels are automatically awarded for each successful consumable craft (see below).
Text | Crafting XP needed to level up | Cumulative CP to reach lvl | Unlock Crafts | CP Gain/craft |
---|---|---|---|---|
Level 1 | 140 | 0 | Prism | 10 |
Level 2 | 160 | 140 | | 10 |
Level 3 | 160 | 300 | Harvester Part | 20 |
Level 4 | 160 | 460 | Extractor | 20 |
Level 5 | 480 | 620 | | 40 |
Level 6 | 480 | 1100 | | 40 |
Each consumable requires a different number of Treasures as ingredients (see below).
Consumable | # of T1 Treasures | # of T2 Treasures | # of T3 Treasures | # of T4 Treasures | # of T5 Treasures |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Prism | 0 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 2 |
Harvester Part | 1 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 5 |
Extractor | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 |
When crafting Consumables, Treasures have a chance of breaking. Broken Treasures are sent to the World Treasury, where they will be recycled and re-distributed for quests.
With the exception of Grin and Honeycomb, Treasures’ likelihood of breaking are based on their Tier. Treasures break during the process required to extract and apply the MAGIC at their core to Legions' craft. Legions who break a Grin or Honeycomb report feeling a tremor that shakes the very foundation of Bridgeworld, an Essence of Grin or Honeycomb in the debris.
Treasure | Probability of Treasures breaking during crafting |
---|---|
Grin/Honeycomb | 0.498% |
Tier 1 | 3% |
Tier 2 | 6% |
Tier 3 | 9% |
Tier 4 | 12% |
Tier 5 | 15% |
When your craft is successful, 100% of the MAGIC cost is consumed. Additionally, all the Treasures used in the recipe have a chance of breaking. Example for a prism recipe:
- The ingredients required are 2x T3, 2x T4 and 2x T5 Treasures
- They have a 9%, 12% and 15% to break, respectively
- The RNG is repeated for each Treasure. If the RNG hits the corresponding threshold probability, your Treasure breaks and is burned.
